Meet the OTB Coaching Team
The right coaching relationship matters.
OTB coaches are thoughtfully selected for their professional experience, understanding of executive functioning, and ability to build genuine relationships with students.
Each coach shares the same OTB approach: individualized, strengths-based, practical coaching that helps students develop greater confidence, independence, and ownership of their success.
Meaghan Peterson, M.Ed.
Founder & Certified Executive Function Coach
Meaghan founded On the Ball Coaching after more than 20 years of supporting students across educational settings. In addition to coaching students, she leads the OTB Coaching Model and works closely with the coaching team to ensure individualized, strengths-based support for every student.
Elizabeth Rose, M.S.
Executive Function Coach
Elizabeth brings more than eight years of experience supporting children, teens, and families across educational, coaching, and behavioral settings. She holds a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis and a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Management and Communication.
Her background has given her a strong foundation in helping students identify what may be getting in the way of success, break challenges into manageable steps, and develop practical, individualized strategies that work for them. Elizabeth supports students in strengthening skills including planning, organization, time management, task initiation, emotional regulation, self-advocacy, flexible thinking, and follow-through.
Elizabeth's warm, collaborative, relationship-centered approach is a natural fit with the OTB philosophy. She believes in meeting students where they are, building on their strengths, and helping them become more confident and independent. She supports middle school, high school, and college students, including neurodiverse learners and students navigating important academic and life transitions.
Elizabeth also brings a unique perspective as a former Division I swimmer and diver at Bryant University. Having personally balanced academics, training, competition, travel, and college life, she understands firsthand the executive function demands placed on student-athletes. This experience makes her especially well positioned to support high school and collegiate athletes while bringing the same individualized approach to every student she coaches.
Elizabeth is trained in the On the Ball Coaching Model and works closely with founder Meaghan Peterson to provide the individualized, strengths-based, student-centered experience OTB families expect.
A little more about Elizabeth: Outside of coaching, she loves spending time with her family, being on the water, taking photos, and finding little ways to make everyday moments special.
