Certified Executive Function Coach

Coaching Philosophy

At the heart of my coaching philosophy is a fundamental belief in the inherent potential of every learner. My role is to create structured, supportive environments where all students, regardless of learning profile, background, or ability, feel seen, valued, and empowered to succeed. I see the coach’s role as one of facilitator: someone who walks alongside students in their intellectual and emotional development while honoring the full complexity of who they are.  My approach is grounded in honoring students’ individual strengths while equipping them with the tools to navigate their differences.

Ultimately, I view coaching as a practice that requires continuous reflection, deep empathy, and a belief in the learner’s ability to succeed. I’m committed to the justice and care of every student. I bring that commitment to every student and every conversation.

My Professional Journey

My journey spans elementary classroom teaching, individualized academic support, curriculum design, managing extensive homeschool programs for elementary and middle school students, tutoring struggling high school learners, and interviewing/evaluating potential college students.

I’ve led inclusive classrooms, co-developed IEPs and 504 plans, mentored both students and fellow educators, provided individualized academic support for high school learners struggling with executive functioning, and worked at the college level with neurodiverse learners. I’ve also implemented social and emotional learning curriculum as a Certified Open Circle Curriculum teacher.

These settings have sharpened my ability to create safe, structured learning environments, especially for learners navigating ADD/ADHD, SLD, ASD, and executive function challenges. I am passionate about working with students with learning differences.
